Recently the Dallas Fuel announced that they are releasing Head Coach Kyle “KyKy” Souder and DPS Dong-jun “Rascal” Kim.

In an official press release, the Fuel organization have decided to part ways with head coach KyKy. Mike Rufail, owner of the Fuel, said that while they appreciate all Kyle did for the team in winning championships in both APEX and Contenders, it was the lack of results in the Overwatch League that ultimately lead to their decision to release him. Current assistant coach Emanuel “Peak” Uzoni will be the interim head coach effective immediately. Dallas have also announced the signing of Kang “Vol’ Jin” Min-Gyu as their new assistant coach. Vol’ Jin is coming over from the Korean team Meta Gaming. Dallas is hoping to announce their next head coach within the next week, as they have already started negotiations with potential candidates.

In addition to letting go coach KyKy, the Dallas Fuel are also announcing the release of DPS player Rascal from the roster. The team originally acquired Rascal in a trade with the London Spitfire. Rascal has played every game throughout Stage 2 and in 2 matches so far in Stage 3. Dallas had hoped that Rascal’s hero pool would bring some flexibility to the team that they didn’t have before. Unfortunately, the team feels that he has not showed the commitment to the team that is expected from the organization. “His unwillingness to communicate with the team while playing in recent matches became a large distraction,” Rufail said in the press release.

This is just another page that has been added to the long story that is the Dallas Fuel. Hopefully this doesn’t cause too much distraction among the organization in their upcoming matches.
