South Korean DPS player, Fl0w3r, has recently landed in the USA to join his fellow team members of New York Excelsior (NYXL) in and practices. Due to age restrictions in the Overwatch League, he will remain in the inactive roster until his eighteenth birthday on May 14. Until then he will assist in team practices and training with NYXL.

Formerly known as nanohana, Fl0w3r is considered one of the most versatile and well-rounded players in the game. His hero pool includes; Soldier 76, Genji, Mcree, Pharah, and Widowmaker, which he consistently excels at. Fl0w3r was also part of LW Red and LW Blue, teams that competed at big-time tournaments such as Overwatch APEX and Nexus Cup. Fl0w3r has already proven that he’s got the skills to compete at the Overwatch League calibre with previous championships including; Overwatch Apex Challengers’ Season One, Intel Extreme Masters Gyeonggi, and the Overwatch World Cup 2017. He gave us a particularly stellar performance in the Overwatch World Cup, and it’s considered by some to be his finest example of skill shown publicly so far.

Fl0w3r posted a photo from the airport on Twitter on his departure from South Korea.

Fl0w3r can potentially play with New York Excelsior’s Overwatch Contenders team ahead of his birthday, but that information is still unclear at this time. We look forward to seeing his performance in the Overwatch League and believe he is a must-watch player.
